PPS or Pay Per Sale campaigns are affiliate campaigns whereby
you as webmaster receive payment for each visitor who is referred,
via your website,
to the landing page of the advertiser and then makes a purchase on
the advertiser's
site. These per sale campaigns may pay you a percentage of the sale price or a fixed amount per sale, regardless of the amount of the sale. For advertisers, PPS is one of the most popular payment models in affiliate marketing because they are assured of a certain amount of income before they have to pay any commission. Other models include CPM (Cost Per Mille), PPC (Pay Per Click) and PPL (Pay Per Lead). As a webmaster, you can find a wide variety of PPS campaigns covering all sorts of themes such as tourism, gadgets, electronics, etc. What you earn per sale with a PPS campaign can vary greatly depending on the website and the sector.
